Rachael qualified as a veterinary nurse from UCD in 2016. Since then she has been working in small animal clinics in the UK where she has developed an interest in anaesthesia, analgesia and radiography. Rachael joined Barna and Moycullen Vets after moving home to Ireland in 2023 and works mainly from the Barna branch.
She has no pets of her own but is a dog lover and has been exploring the Connemara coast since moving to Galway on many dog walks with friends.
